Attractive robust boxes based on box section extrusions manufactured to Canford design. They have a two part, interlocking construction to allow easy access to the interior during assembly. Internal channels are provided to hold PCB’s in place. Boxes are finished black anodised, and are supplied with aluminium alloy endplates and blank black labels, plus fixing screws. There is also a special bezel, made in ABS, which is fitted over and completely covers the edge of the endplate, giving not only an attractive finished product but also good protection to the box in use, taking most knocks if dropped. Two bezels are supplied with each box. Belt clip 27-091 can readily be mounted on Type 85, making it into a good beltpack.
