A range of economically priced PCB mounting transformers, manufactured by OEP in England. A262 types and Z3003E are supplied without screening cans, these are available as an optional extra. Z218 series have fitted mu-metal screening cans, while Z1604 and E187A are unscreened.

Suitable for microphone input stages optimised for low source impedances (500-1000 ohms), typical of low Rbb bipolar transistors and operational amplifiers such as the LT1208. Suitable for line level input stages using the current mode or ‘zero field’ technique.
