Ear defending headsets, of particular use to those who have to communicate in environments with high background noise levels, for example camera crew at football grounds and other events with high ambient noise levels.
NOTE: Peltor have ceased manufacture of all broadcast headsets. An alternative ear-defending product to consider is the Beyerdynamic DT797 (56-4053).
The H79 headphones have been in use in high ambient noise environments for many years and have an established reputation for effectiveness and comfort during extended use. They comprise two high-attenuation earcups with soft foam- and fluid-filled sealing rings with built-in pressure-evening channels for effective sealing. This model uses the type A headband, which is padded stainless-steel spring design. The MT7 noise-cancelling microphone is fitted on an easily adjustable boom, which may be unplugged from the cup for easy replacement.
As standard the headsets are supplied with a stereo wired coiled cable, unterminated. To special order, they can be fitted with 7mm 4-pole ‘Nexus’ jack plugs, 4 pin female XLR for use with Tecpro and similarly wired intercom systems, or other connectors as required. They can also be fitted with headphone limiters - please contact Sales for details.
Other products from the extensive Peltor range are available to special order.
Spare Nexus plugs are stocked, stock code 43-306.
