These straight microphone stands have cast-iron round bases, using a smaller footprint than tripod base microphone stands.
This microphone stand has been constructed with ‘strong-lightweight Microlite’ tubing, and has a black enamel finish that is scratch-resistant and non-reflective. The mechanism for locking the height of the mic stand uses a twist motion. The height of the stand can be adjusted from 90.2cm - 156.2cm, with the base diameter of 24.75cm. QL-A988
This microphone stand is very similar in design to the QL-A399, however it features a ‘one-hand’ clutch for height adjustment. Height can be adjusted from 104cm - 156.6cm, and the cast-iron base diameter is 24.8cm. QL-A988 weight is 4.8kg.
