Large area hearing loop drivers from Contacta enhance accessibility to music and speech in larger areas than can be covered with one-to-one or portable loop systems.
This class D amplifier has been designed to provide a perimeter hearing-loop in environments such as classrooms, meeting rooms and waiting rooms. The output stage is capable of up to 5A RMS at over 7V RMS while integrated protections circuits offer temperature voltage, short circuit and DC detection. Internal heat sinks have thermal protection. Other features include 7-stage high pass filter, switchable automatic gain control, acoustic time delay, continuous self-testing, and sleep mode.
Contacta suggest a 1:1 driver coverage area of 95.06m2; 1:2 coverage of 143m2; and 1:3 coverage of 178.64m2. The front of the amplifier has an LED screen that displays all settings via a menu system, which can be accessed by a large rotary/push control to the right of the screen. A LED to the left of the display illuminates when the audio input clips. The rear of the V7+ houses all I/O connectivity including the choice of 3-pin Euroblock (Phoenix style, detachable terminal block) or XLR input for the balanced line-level input. A microphone input that can offer 12V phantom power is also by way of 3-pin Euroblock connector. The output loop connector is by way of a 2-way 5.08mm Euroblock, also positioned on the rear panel. Power is via included PS-55 30W 14Vdc power supply.

The Contacta V15+ has the same functionality as the V7 however the output is doubled from 7.5Vrms to 15Vrms. Power is via included PS-60 100W 24Vdc power supply.

V15A+ hearing loop driver has the same feature set as the V7+, however with dual outputs the V15A+ is also suitable for phased array configurations in meeting rooms, classrooms, waiting rooms or lecture halls. Two 90-degree phase-shifted class-D amplifier stages provide 5A RMS at over 15Vrms. The front panel is the same as that of the V7+ with the addition of a second 'Clip' status LED. The rear panel has the same connectivity as the V7+ with the addition of a second 2-way Euroblock for Loop B output.

As the V22 is a single channel amplifier, it has been designed for perimeter loop systems in large spaces such as theatres, concert halls, and places of worship. This amplifier alone cannot provide a phased array. V22 is also 1U, 19-inch rackmountable and therefore more suitable for rack enclosures.
All I/O is positioned on the rear facing panel, with 3-pin XLR inputs for channels A and B, 3-pin XLR output for Line out, RJ45 connection for network link, and Speakon type connectors for Loop A output.

Contacta V22A PRO is an amplifier with Class D amplification and dual outputs, each capable of over 22.6 VRMS at 8A RMS. The dual outputs ensures the V22A PRO is suitable for phased array loops in medium sized venues such as lecture halls, places of worship, gyms and sports halls, and reception/waiting areas. An inbuilt and intuitive loop setup guide utilises an integral test signal generator to ensure correct setup is achievable, whilst dual DSP engines control automatic gain and seven stages of high frequency compensation for metal loss. Connection to a local network via Ethernet cable allows the user to enable email alerts, remote setup, and self-monitoring functions.
The front facing panel of the amplifier has a full colour, high resolution, backlit TFT display and single dial controller that enables navigation of the menus and setup. User settings and profiles can be stored on a removable USB storage device. All I/O is positioned on the rear facing panel, with 3-pin XLR inputs for channels A and B, 3-pin XLR output for Line out, RJ45 connection for network link, and Speakon type connectors for Loop A and B outputs.

The IL-RX20 Loop Listener is a compact listening device designed for use and interaction with hearing loop systems whereby an engineer can listen to the hearing loop system as though they were wearing a compatible hearing aid switched to the 'T' position. The two included alkaline AAA batteries will give more than 100 hours life; a rotary volume control doubles as on/off switch. An LED illuminates to signify power on. The included headphones are connected via 3.5mm jack socket located on the top of the IL-RX20.
