This weatherproof loudspeaker is rated to IP56 and is coloured army green to blend with foliage and other flora in a garden, landscaped area such as park, or natural setting such as museum exhibit. The speaker is able to operate on either low impedance system at 8ohms, or on 100V line system. Taps of 32/16/8/4/2W are available for 100V use. A 5.25-inch woofer is matched with a 1.2-inch high frequency driver to produce a frequency response of 80Hz to 15kHz and a continuous power output of 40W with a sound pressure level of 86dB at 1W/1m.
COGS 52 MB is an optional mounting bracket, alternatively the 2x M8 threaded inserts positioned on the base of the loudspeaker can be used with compatible ground anchor. Cable entry is via grommeted entry on the underside of the loudspeaker.
The total height of the loudspeaker is 372mm, including 74mm which is designed to be recessed into the ground. At the widest point, the speaker has a diameter of 345mm.
LD Systems advise a 10cm thick layer of gravel under the loudspeaker to allow water drainage.
