MV7 - Podcasting Microphone
Available in black (MV7-K) or silver (MV7-S), the MV7 has been designed as a podcasting microphone with many of the qualities as the popular SM7B announcer microphone. The main difference is that ability to connect the microphone's output via 3-pin XLR or USB connection. The microphone can connect to Windows or Mac computer, as well as iOS or Android device when using applicable optional cable.
The 'highly directional' cardioid pickup pattern aids cleaner input, whilst the frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz provides clarity and warmth. Switchable EQ filters and custom user presets are available when using in conjunction with ShurePlus MOTIV application. ShurePlus MOTIV also allows for auto level mode to automatically adjust the microphone's gain and compression levels, however a touch panel on the microphone body allows for manual adjustment of level and monitoring. An LED bar positioned above the touch panel shows microphone or headphone level with secondary LEDs illustrating which level is being displayed.
The rear panel of the microphone houses the passive 3-pin XLR output, Micro-B USB port, and 3.5mm jack monitor output for use with headphones. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included for connection to a computer.
