Infrared distribution systems can offer high quality audio for music or speech distribution over a large area for uses such as hearing support systems or audio commentary in auditoria. A variety of radiators and receivers are available depending on the application.
Dual channel wideband modulator (transmitter) that uses the interference-free 2.3/2.8MHz modulation frequencies. This modulator is switchable Ch.1 only/Ch.2 only/dual mono/stereo. Inputs are via XLRs, outputs on BNCs and barrier strips. Powered by NT 1015 mains power supply (not included, please order 54-735), which can also power up to two SZI 1015 radiators or one SZI 1029-24 radiator.
SI 30 Modulator/Radiator
Small to medium power, wideband modulator, with integral 0.5 watt infrared radiator. Designed for smaller to medium sized rooms, or recesses on larger applications. Switchable between single 2.3/2.8 MHz channels or two channel stereo operation. Can be linked with up to 4 SZI additional radiators. 24V DC powered - supplied without power supply, but NT20-4-UK is available for UK use. To power clusters of up to 4 SI 30/SZI 30 units, an additional KKY 20-015 4-way cable is also required. SI 30 is supplied with SZI 30 radiator/slave unit and interconnection audio cable. Carrier frequency: 2.3/2.8Mhz, Audio frequency response: 50-18000Hz, distortion: < 1%, weight: 140g.
Available in black (SZI 1015), or white (SZI 1015-W), this medium power, 2 watt infrared radiator has half the power of the SZI 1029 unit. Two units can be DC powered via the SI 1015 modulator, with transmission in single-channel, two-channel, or stereo operation with 2.3 and 2.8MHz carrier frequencies. Can also be or directly with NT 1015 power supply.
Like the SZI 1015 however the SZI 1015-T (black) and SZI 1015-TW (white) have integrated modulator with a single-channel carrier frequency of 2.3MHz only.
Small to medium power, wideband radiator, capable of handling up to 0.5 watt power. Suits operation with SI 30 modulator. Can be linked with up to 3 other SZI additional radiators to an SI 30. DC powered - supplied without power supply, but NT20-4-UK is available for UK use (see SI 30 for details). Mains powered radiator with 144 Infra-red transmitting diodes. Suitable for both wideband and narrowband operation. BNC input connector for connection to modulator plus an additional BNC output connector for looping to additional radiators. 3/8 inch thread for easy mounting. EKI 830 Receiver bodypack
A bodypack infrared receiver that works on both 2.3 and 2.8MHz wideband frequencies. It can be used in single channel mono or dual channel stereo modes. Powered by included BA 300 lithium polymer battery for up to 12hrs operation. Can be used with HP 02 headphones, NP 02 neck worn earphones, or EZT 3011 induction neck loop. HDI 830 Receiver stethoset
Functionally the same as EKI 830 however this stethoset infrared receiver has attached in-ear earphones similar to that of a stethoscope. Frequency response: 50 – 16,000Hz. Weight: 68g.

This induction neck loop is designed for use with EKI 830 receiver and with compatible hearing aids with induction coils.

HP 02 Headphones
Lightweight on-ear earphones designed with a frequency response of 20 – 20,000Hz for speech intelligibility. The adjustable headband and rotatable ear cups ensures a comfortable fit for prolonged periods.
