This system transports an HDMI signal over a radio link, typically for use in commercial and residential AV systems, classroom projector systems, home theatre, and digital signage.
Range is 30 metres in line of sight, including a maximum length of two metres of HDMI cable per end. The system uses the 5GHz, 802.11a and 802.11n bands.

Operating within a 165MHz bandwidth, this point to point kit includes one transmitter unit, one receiver unit, IR emitter and IR sensor for unidirectional remote control. Supporting HDMI 1.3a, the 500780 supports up to 1080p and 3D source signals, with H.264 video compression, at less than 500ms latency. The transmitter and receiver can be paired by simply pressing the 'pair' button on the two units. A 'connecting' message will appear on the connected HDMI display.
The transmitter is a compact unit, manufactured from plastic, with a single 'pair' button on the front panel. The top of the unit has a red LED to indicate power-on. The rear panel houses all I/O connectivity including HDMI input, HDMI output for local display monitoring, a 2.5mm female jack socket for infrared emitter, and mini-USB connector for included 5V DC power supply input.
The receiver has a single 'pair' button on the front panel, red LED on the top of the unit to show power-on status, and I/O connectivity on the rear panel. The I/O connectivity includes HDMI output, 3.5mm female jack socket for infrared sensor, and mini-USB power input.

This is an optional and additional receiver for the 500780 system. Up to three receivers can be added to the system to create a maximum of one transmitter to four receiver multi-point system.
