This is a 4x1, 4K, 60Hz HDMI 2.0 switcher that supports HDCP 2.2 and audio extraction in the way of uncompressed LPCM 2.0 or 5.1, compressed Dolby 5.1 and DTS5.1 audio to S/PDIF Toslink, or LPCM 2.0 to dual analogue RCA (phono) sockets. Up to 12-bit deep colour can be achieved with the 500437 and a push button selects between four HDMI inputs and three audio modes (pass-through/2.0/5.1 audio).
The front panel of the metal enclosure has status LEDs to signify power, HDMI channel select, and audio channel select. The rear of the unit houses all input/output connectivity including HDMI connections, optical (Toslink), dual RCA connectors and 5V DC power supply input.
